MANUAL START GENERATOR
- Lower initial investment
- This option is very ‘Hands on’. The generator will not start by itself. You must be there to start the generator, plug it in, and flip the switch
- Limited capacity to what it can power
- Very loud
- Need to have gasoline on hand and refill the gas tank on the generator as needed
TOTAL INVESTMENT FOR THIS OPTION:
$1,650 to have the proper electrical connections and equipment installed into your home. You will also need to purchase a generator from a local home center for approximately $1,000.
"Wes Carver Electrical Contractors possesses all of the traits and characteristics one would want in someone you let in your home. Before the project began, Wes shared his expertise in planning the work. The technician that performed the service was well informed of the scope of work. He also showed on the date and time promised! Once the work was underway, it was performed in an accurate manner. Even to the point that all of the devices were aligned and level! It was a pleasure working with the folks from Wes Carver Electrical Contractors. It was also reassuring that this level of service did not come with an inflated cost premium."

"We have used Wes Carver Electric a few times. They always have the best demeanor from when you call them to the electrician who do the work. Even over the phone Mike tries to help you solve the issue before scheduling an appointment. They do not try to up sell you and even provide advice when the cost of an item outweighs the benefit. They are the only ones I will go to."

"I needed a ceiling fan fixed (the lights wouldn't work) and a porch light installed. Initial charge to come out was $89, the total bill was about $275 and included a new light switch and the 2-floodlight porch fixture. About 4 weeks later the lights in the ceiling fan went out again. I called them back and they had someone at my house within ONE HOUR! The electrician fixed a loose connection free of charge and everything has been working fine ever since. I previously used Lowry Electric but they are very overpriced compared to this company. Wes Carver is my new primary electrician."
