Switch Out your Switches
In the December issue of the American Lighting Association’s (ALA) Newsletter there is a great article about updating your switches to accommodate your new LED and CFL bulbs. They state “Traditional lighting switches don’t work very well with LED and CFL bulbs.”
The same dimmer you used for your incandescent bulbs won’t respond properly to the new LED bulbs. The physics of the bulb is very different.
